(Overview)

A second portfolio built around expressive variable type, deliberate motion and four projects that deserve a closer look.

This portfolio brings together my web development work in a focused case-study format. Its typography and motion take inspiration from an existing design reference, while the identity, content, project pages and playable demo are tailored to my own work. The purpose is straightforward: introduce what I build and make the projects enjoyable to explore.

(The idea)

I wanted the movement to survive beyond a single hero section. The build carries it through the project list, cursor-following previews, page transitions, image galleries and text reveals, while keeping the content in ordinary source files that I can edit myself.

Inside the project

(03)
01

Typography that responds

Archivo’s variable width and weight axes let the large headings stretch towards the pointer and ease back into place. The same type system ties the homepage, case studies, navigation transitions and contact footer together.

02

The work is the content

Each project has a detailed case study backed by screenshots captured from the real build. External links take visitors to the live websites, while Vector Table can be played without leaving the page.

03

A source-first build

The website uses HTML templates, CSS and JavaScript with a small local development server. Shared navigation and footer markup stay in one place, while separate page files make copy and layout changes easy to find. The finished output can be hosted as static files.

(The build)

The result is a portfolio I can keep evolving: dedicated project pages, reusable shared markup and responsive layouts built for desktop and mobile. Canadian-dollar budgets and a Toronto-local clock keep the details close to home, while reduced-motion support gives visitors a quieter way to explore.
